Cloud hosting is the most innovative technology that is formed combining a number of servers in a single network. This model of hosting offers immense scalability capability that seamlessly accommodates the fluctuating demand of your business. In the Cloud environment, if one server is about to reach its optimum level (usually 60 percent), then the second server takes the onus to tackle the load and serves the website. Also, if a singles server fails in the network, your website will remain to be unaffected as another server will be ready to serve your website.

Shared hosting, on the other hand, is a less efficient hosting model that doesn’t support scalability. A certain amount of resources allocated to each user in the network. If your business getting the surge, a shared hosting may not handle the additional inflows of traffic, as a result, your website may get crashed.

I, therefore, recommend you to go with Cloud hosting if you want reliability with great functionality. Although, Cloud hosting is slightly expensive but in recent past, its prices are slashed by major players.
